Why not ask your administrative staff how they would like to celebrate Administrative Professionals Week? Here are some ideas to get the discussion going:

• Hold a special event for administrative staff with a presentation or seminar that helps them with their career development.
  
  
• Hold a company-wide luncheon or dinner in their honor and have the president or CEO as the speaker
  
  
• Support membership in appropriate networking and professional associations.
  
  
• Give appropriate business-related gifts like a monetary bonus for exemplary performance, a professional certification course of their choice, a desktop nameplate or engraved pen and pencil set, or a computer hardware/software upgrade
