Step 5: Choose a name and location for your exported file by clicking on the "Browse" button. Save the file to your desktop, or any place where you will remember to find it. Then click "OK" and "Next>". Click "Finish". (Outlook/Office 2007 users see below.)

NEW ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR OUTLOOK 2007 USERS:
Outlook/Office 2007 exports are often too big. Please follow these extra steps to reduce the size of your exported .csv file:
After selecting the location and file name, Outlook 2007 will let you select which fields to import. Click on the "Map Custom Fields" button, as shown below.
The following screen shows all data fields on the left, and the ones to export on the right. You need to make the list on the right show the seven fields needed by the CorpNote address book. You have to include all 7 fields in this step, even if you don't plan to use the data, or don't have information for a field in yor Outlook file.

You can do this by either a) deleting unwanted fields in the right column by highlighting them and hitting delete, or b) by clicking the "Clear Map" button, and dragging the fields from the left column to the right.
Once your window looks like the image above, click "OK", and then click the Finish button to clean and save your file. |
