Even though there are special holidays set aside to recognize employees, one of the most important things a company can do is recognize their employees accomplishments year-round. Send employee appreciation ecards and thank you ecards to recognize your staff.

Employee appreciation holidays occur at the end of April and the beginning of May.

• Administrative Professional's Week begins on April 28.
• Nurses Day is May 6th.
• Teacher Appreciation Week begins on May 7.

What Motivates Your Employees?

Every employee is motivated by different things. Surprisingly, money may not even be a factor. For some, the thrill of closing a sale is what motivates them; so, rewarding these employees with tougher, yet more profitable potential clients might be a good move. For others, working their hardest to give their family a good lifestyle is a motivating factor. Giving these employees a family cruise package might be a good move.

Take the time to learn as much as you can about your staff so when the time comes to show your appreciation, you know just what to give them to make them happy.
