Our Freedom Edition
"We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it." - William
Faulkner, American Poet
Independence Day is celebrated by Americans to commemorate the signing
of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 in which
the US declared its independence from British rule. Here in
the states, Fourth of
July is synonymous with
family, barbecues, picnics, parades and fireworks. If you look
at the Holiday as a celebration of freedom, then July 4th is
cause to think
about people worldwide that are invoking change to ensure freedom
for all.
Here are some interesting 4th of July facts from the Census Bureau
- 150 million hot dogs are expected to be consumed by Americans on July 4th (1 for every 2 people)
- There are 30 places in the US with "liberty" in the name
- 946,000 immigrants were granted legal permanent residence in the US during fiscal year 2004. More than 1-in-4 settled in California.

Freedom of Choice
In keeping with our 'freedom' theme, CorpNote believes in Freedom
of Choice when it comes to how you use our service. You can
compose, design and address e-cards in any order, choose how
much you want to customize the site experience to match your
own company's look, and you have the freedom to send as many
e-cards, invitations and surveys each customized for your individual
needs.
Many of our members have shared with us how CorpNote gives
them the freedom to do some pretty cool stuff. Here are
a few!
Use a Photo or Promotional Offer in your Signature. One of our members, who is in Real Estate, uses her photo instead of a logo in the left area next to her signature. Other members have also been creative by adding a slogan to their signature that acts like a coupon: "Ask me how to save 15% off your next order!" Now that's great thinking outside of the signature box!
Use Invitations and Surveys Together. Event planners are sending invitations with a survey asking what people want to eat and even votes for awards that are to be given at the event. Other members are combining invitations to seminars with a survey asking participants specific questions so they can tailor their seminar to the needs of their audience.
Group Plans are Not Just for
Medium and Large Companies. Sole proprietors are using our group
plans so they can make the entire CorpNote web site look like their brand
AND they get discount pricing on their ongoing monthly subscription. The
one-time setup fee is $350 and your monthly cost is $6.29/month per user
(or lower if you add more users).
