Issue 22:
Have a Great 2008!
A New Year's message from the creators of CorpNote...
Thank
you for your support and suggestions in 2007! This year we launched many new features and we are excited to
announce what we have in store for 2008. The Online Business Communications
field
is growing, and we are preparing to help you face the challenges of successfully
using email based tools to grow your business. We are adapting CorpNote
to overcome the new breed of anti-SPAM and antivirus filters that are
emerging, and we are adding more features and more e-cards that will
enhance your company image and help your message cut through the 'inbox
clutter'.
While we continue to keep an eye on the competition, we
are committed to listening to your requests and suggestions as we make enhancements to the CorpNote system. As we set our plans for 2008,
we encourage your participation. You can contact us via our online form, take our 2-minute online survey, or call us at 609-406-1665 (yes, you can actually talk to us).
Below is an overview of what we've accomplished in 2007, and what our
Members can look forward to in the weeks and months ahead. We value your
patronage - Your
success is our success!
Wishing you the best in 2008,

2007 in review
In 2007, we added tons of new tutorials, created 10 online videos of real CorpNote
sessions that cover a range of tasks, and authored new online newsletters
and blog entries that discuss building your business using the Internet.
We've also made upgrades to our Address Book that let you search and sort your contacts, and added Birthday and Anniversary email reminders, so you don't miss important dates.
We also consolidated our membership types so now there are two choices
— Individual
Membership and Company Plans. We've increased the number of custom
e-cards that you can upload to 36, and raised the number
of recipients per card to 1000.
Pick a card, any card...
In 2007, we added 240 new e-cards. Members have been
requesting animated e-cards for many common (and unique) business occasions,
and
as 2007
comes to a close, we now have 101 animated e-cards in the system.
Going Green in 2008
Conservation of resources is an international effort, and we are proud that many
companies chose CorpNote this year as part of their company or personal
campaign to save energy, resources and cost, without compromising the
quality of their business relationships.
We are committed to keeping our policy of 'unlimited use for a fixed
price', which means that the more you use CorpNote, the lower your cost-per-impression
will be. In 2008, we will be creating new e-cards and new business resources
aimed at using CorpNote and the Internet to strengthen your
business relationships, while significantly
bolstering your Green Initiatives and increasing profits.
Here's what's coming for 2008...
You're Invited!...
Did you know that 85% of Corpnote members are using our EZ-RSVP Invitation
tools to manage online event registration? In the first quarter of 2008,
we'll be launching a new, more intuitive way to view a history of all
correspondence for a particular event.
You'll be able to see who picked up your invitation, who replied, and
when reminders and follow-up
messages were sent.
More e-cards...
We'll be adding more animated and interactive e-cards this year with
sound and music. We'll also be adding some specialized e-cards for specific
categories
that you've requested, like wine receptions, sales seminars and open
houses. (Keep those requests coming...if you have a special need let
us know!) You will also be seeing a new line of e-cards with a splash
of wit, whimsy, irony and office humor.
Motivation...
We all agree that we should spend more time keeping in touch, and that
there's nothing more appreciated than a timely follow-up. As part of
our 2008 effort to create great e-business resources, we'll be writing
tips and creating tools that will help you simplify and automate your
business correspondence. We'll suggest how to combine
print and electronic marketing efforts, and what kind of response rates
you can expect from an online campaign. Finally, we'll help you overcome
SPAM filters and inbox clutter, and provide solid advice on how
your
image and message can make you rise above your competition.
The year ahead...
It looks like 2008 will be about achieving more, while conserving
resources. More e-cards, more tools, more business opportunities, and more
fun! We said it before, "Your
success is our success", and we are excited about the year to come.
