Holiday eCards - Examples and Options
By Sarah Miller
As people are preparing for Thanksgiving, Season's Greetings and Christmas eCards, one of the most common questions I get is, "What will my eCard look like when my recipients see it?" There are a couple of ways people can view your eCard so here are some examples:
The “Display in Browser” delivery method is just that – your recipient receives an email notice with a thumbnail image and they click to view the full card in a web browser. (View sample eCard)
The “Display in Email Inbox” delivery offers the advantage that the recipient does not need to ‘click’ to display your final eCard.
An important note on the "Display in Browser" vs. "Display in Email Inbox" delivery method. While the inbox option is the easiest for your recipients to see, it’s not appropriate for our Flash animated eCards that only display in a web browser. CorpNote automatically displays a still-image version of animated eCards if the device doesn’t support Flash animation, like Apple iOS devices and newer Android models. Posting eCards in Social Media is another great way to distribute your holiday message but CorpNote cannot track the specific details of who is viewing your eCard – only the total number. View our tutorial on Social Media eCards to determine if this is a good option for you.
