It's not too late to 'seize the day' and make last-minute ecommerce sales with simple to do, and focused, online marketing. Consider sending eCards with coupons and/or promotion notifications to drive sales traffic.
As the holiday season draws to a close, and panic sets in, previously price-sensitive shoppers are looking at the ease of which they can obtain their gift. A company's reputation and the ability to order online may drive the sale -- provided, of course, it will be shipped and arrive before the holidays.
All of your online marketing, including your email signature, should have the prominent tagline "Guaranteed to arrive by Dec. 24th if you order by X date and time." Also important to driving the sale this time of year is your return policy. It should be clearly displayed on your web site, when customers view their cart, on the order receipt etc. If your policy easily allows easy exchanges, a prospective customer may be more inclined to purchase.
Most importantly, track your return on investment for all of the campaigns so you can see what is effective and not effective as you plan your marketing for next year.
