This summer is already heating up in the United States Northeast, but I have jingle bells and snowflakes on my mind. I am already getting emails about winter holidays eCards and what people can do now to start preparing for the winter holiday season. Believe it or not, it's definitely not too early to start thinking about holiday eCards and holiday party invitations. In fact, it's just the right time.
Here are a couple of tips and answers to the most common questions I get this time of year.
Create and schedule your holiday eCards now. For some, the summer months are a little less hectic than Fall holiday time so this is a great time to create your eCards and message. Send the eCards to yourself to make sure you like how they look and then make "eCard templates" so you can easily use them during the holidays. Want to go one step further? You can also address and schedule your eCards to be sent on any future day you choose. If you change your mind on a card design or the text you want to include, no problem! At any time, you can access your scheduled eCard to add more people to the address list and change your eCard text or design.
Send Thanksgiving eCards. Rather than waiting for the busy time of 'Season's Greetings,' why not start a little early. If your recipients reside in the United States, sending a warm holiday eCard to thank co-workers, vendors and clients might be appropriate. Thanksgiving is all about being grateful and it's a great reason to let people know how grateful you are for their relationship before the Christmas and New Year season takes over.
Provide Your Holiday eCards on Your Web Site. You can include a link from your website to your holiday eCard by using our 'Direct Link' feature. If you have a holiday promotion, you can include it in the text of image of your eCard.
Start compiling your email lists now. Start gathering and cleaning your holiday eCard list now rather than waiting to the last minute. You can import your email addresses into your address book and create "groups" so you can easily send holiday eCards to those groups of people. For example, you might create groups for potential clients, current clients, vendors, partners and colleagues because you want each group of people to get a different eCard message or design.
Design a Custom Holiday eCard. Be different! Have a custom animated scene designed or original holiday story. The year in "pictures" can sometimes mean much more than words. If you need help, contact our art department. We're always brimming with ideas!
The above should get you started but I am sure you can think of lots of creative ideas too! Please send them to me. I would love to hear from you!
