Address Book Enhancements
By Sarah Miller
In a continuation of our mission to make CorpNote more efficient, we’ve made a lot of changes to the address book. Here are the highlights:
- We’ve added a new field called ‘Start Date’ for each contact. Start Dates can be displayed and sorted when you are addressing a card or building a mailing list (Group) of recipients. The Start Date field can be used for employee's job start dates, so you can send an eCard celebrating their yearly employment anniversary. You can also use it for customer appreciation, marking the anniversary date of when they became your customer.
- We've added new search filters to the Address Book that make it possible to search for contacts using the ‘date added’ information that says when that contact was entered. By specifying a date range, you can now distinguish which contacts were uploaded at various times of the year for different email campaigns.
- Did you know that CorpNote flags contacts who have asked to be unsubscribed from your email list? We've made enhancements so you can easily see who's unsubscribed from your list on the search results screen. These contacts will be marked in red, and cannot be added to a group or email send list.
- When importing contacts, you can now include individual Start Dates (discussed above) for each contact in your import file, or you can easily type a new start date, which will automatically be applied to all contacts in that upload.
