Creating and Sharing eCard Templates

By Sarah Miller    3/11/2014

There are lots of time saving features in CorpNote, but eCard templates are often overlooked by our members.  eCard templates allow you to save an entire eCard, including the art, colors, message, event RSVP and survey response links. You can then easily send a template eCard to individuals or larger lists of recipients. Not only is this a tremendous time saver, but it will ensure consistency in your communications. If you are a Company Plan administrator, you can share your eCard templates with your users.

If you haven’t used this feature, I encourage you to view our eCard templates tutorial which has step by step instructions. Company members can learn more by going to our step-by-step tutorial: eCard Templates for Company Members.

Here are some other great ways to use our eCard Templates.

QuickSend eCard Templates - an Easy Way to send eCards Using Mobile Devices
Did you know that you can save a complete eCard template and then send it from your mobile phone with just a few clicks? It’s called CorpNote QuickSend, and it’s available to all CorpNote members. (You do not need to download an app to your device to use this feature.) It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

  1. Set up Your eCards in Advance. A QuickSend template can be created from any "sent" eCard, and will save the art, style and message as well as the sending preferences (inbox or browser delivery) that you select. To take advantage of QuickSend, create a few cards for ’it was nice meeting you,’ ’thank you’ and other appropriate sayings that will be helpful in your day-to-day routine. Send the eCard to yourself and make sure it looks exactly the way you want it to. From your Sent Cards bin, click the ’Save eCard As...’ button and choose ’Save as a QuickSend Template.’ Enter a name for the QuickSend template that will help you identify it easily while you’re on your mobile device.

  2. Bookmark the QuickSend page on Your Mobile Device. On your mobile device, go to http://corpnote.com/qs/ and either bookmark the page in the browser or choose ’Add to Home Screen’ on your Apple device. Sign into your account and make sure all of your QuickSend eCards are displaying in a way that you can easily recognize them.

  3. Send your eCards. When you want to send a card, open the QuickSend screen, choose your template, enter an email address and click send.

If you’re sending QuickSend eCards at a trade show or networking event to people you’ve just met, you can even import their names and email into your CorpNote address book when you get back to the office! Learn more by going to our step-by-step QuickSend eCards tutorial.
