It's Easy to Send Recurring Birthday, Anniversary and Business eCards

By Sarah Miller    10/5/2018

Recurring eCards make it easy to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and holidays.

One of the most popular features in CorpNote is recurring eCards. That's because recurring eCards make it easy to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, send reminders and more! If you haven't used this feature, here's the skinny on what it is, how it works and how you can make the most of recurring eCards for your business.

What's the difference between a recurring eCard and a scheduled eCard?

All CorpNote eCards can be created and sent right away, or scheduled to be sent on any date in the future.

A recurring eCard is different in that you can select several eCards you have designed and have them automatically sent to a group of recipients at an interval that you choose. For example, you could have an eCard sent annually on a person's birthday or anniversary, or on a holiday, or at specific intervals that you can choose – once, twice, 3x, 4x, 6x or 12x/year. So, if you are sending recurring birthday eCards, they will go out year after year, to the group of recipients you've selected, without any additional intervention.

Ways to Use Recurring eCards in your Business

Now that you know how recurring eCards work, here are some ways our members customize their recurring cards that might be right for you, too.

We're sure you will come up with many other great uses for recurring eCards. They can be used for pretty much any campaign that requires a scheduled series of notices, where you want to 'set it and forget it'.

What happens to recurring eCards when a membership lapses?

If your account becomes inactive (because you cancelled, or your credit card expired and wasn't updated), your recurring eCards will not be sent.

When you cancel, or if your payment fails, CorpNote retains your account data for a grace period of 60 days (unless you ask us to delete this information upon termination). During this time, recurring eCards will not be sent. For your security, accounts that are inactive for 60 days are automatically cleared of all account data, which means all recurring eCard campaigns and scheduled eCards in your account are permanently deleted.

If you restore your account within the 60-day grace period, your recurring eCards will commence on the day following your account re-activation. So, to avoid interruption of your recurring eCard campaigns, please make sure that your account payment method is up to date, and that you respond to our billing notifications promptly!
