In today's blog, I'll show you how to make holiday emails, eCards and invitations using your own images or images that you've found on a stock photography site. I'll also show you how you can further embellish your email with images from our image library.
For my first example, I will create a Season's Greetings holiday eCard with an image I found on unsplash.com, a popular free photography sharing site.
I uploaded the image and my logo into my account so they will be available when I design my email.
To save time, I searched for an email template to use as my base. I searched for "Season's Greetings" email layouts and clicked the magnify icon to preview them.
When previewing email templates, you can view them with the default styles, your favorite styles and the reverse of your favorite colors. For my example, I chose to use an email template with my favorite colors and clicked the Insert button.
I replaced the logo image with my logo that I uploaded in step 1 and I replaced the CorpNote stock image with the image I found on Unsplash.
I personalized the message, added a link to a holiday video posted on YouTube and added company contact information at the bottom.
This is what my holiday eCard looks like after I've customized it.

For my second example, I will create a holiday party invitation using the same image. Holiday celebrations are a little different this year because of Covid so my example includes information about a virtual holiday party.
I created an event in my account so I can include a link to it when I design my invitation email.
This time I searched for an email design under "Events/Invitations."
I changed the main photo, edited the event information, changed the RSVP button to red to better match my photo and added company contact information.

Both of my examples use email designs that have snowflakes from the CorpNote image library. If you don't want snowflakes or you want different snowflakes, you can easily swap out images.
In the editor, click on the image you want to replace and click the "insert image" button or the image icon in the editor. Find the image you want to use instead and it will replace the image you selected.
In my example below, I clicked on the snowflake and then searched for a small gold Christmas tree.
I hope you enjoyed my mini tutorial on how to customize a holiday eCard and a holiday party invitation.
