How do I create an RSVP cut-off date for my event?
You can set a cutoff date to disable RSVP responses after a certain date. This is done in the ‘RSVP Requirements’ section of the Event screen, which lets you set:
- ‘RSVP By’ date – This date is displayed on the invitation response form to inform your guests of your desired RSVP by date. It does not stop responses after the date you enter for this field.
- ‘RSVP Cutoff Date’ – This date is the 'actual' date the CorpNote system will stop taking online responses and it can be different from the date you selected as your 'RSVP By' date.
- Attendee Limit – This is the maximum number of “yes” responses allowed via the online RSVP form. Once the limit is reached, the response form will give an event closed notice.
- Message to display when the Attendee Limit is reached – This message displays to your guests when they try to RSVP and the limit has been reached.
