Why do I have to use the address book to create recurring eCards?
To set up recurring eCards for occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, you must have groups of contacts set up in your address book. Here are some of the reasons why:
- When you create a contact, you can include a birthday, anniversary and start date which will be used to determine the send date for those types of recurring eCard campaigns.
- If an eCard template used in a recurring eCard series uses the 'auto-fill' first name feature, the first name you have for the contact will be used.
- When you add a new contact to an address book group that is assigned to a recurring eCard series, they will start receiving eCards as part of that recurring eCard campaign.
- Contacts who unsubscribe from your CorpNote email list will automatically stop receiving eCards in any of your recurring eCard campaigns.
