rules regarding what constitutes SPAM.
One of the ways we combat our eCards being seen as SPAM is by clearly identifying the sender of any eCard that is sent through our system. All eCards are sent with the member's account name displayed as the sender. This helps eCard recipients recognize our member's correspondence, and it discourages anonymous use. We also provide a way for you to display your physical business location in the custom footer, as required by law. (Per CAN-SPAM: Your message must include your valid physical postal address. This can be your current street address, a post office box you’ve registered with the U.S. Postal Service, or a private mailbox you’ve registered with a commercial mail receiving agency established under Postal Service regulations
Multi-User members, and Single-User Members with our 'Custom Interface' option can additionally identify their companies with links and text at the bottom of the entire CorpNote website, that further reinforce their identity.
We encourage all of our members to review their email list on a regular basis for accuracy and to use 'permission-based' email list practices.
At the bottom of every email we send out is a link for the eCard recipient to 'unsubscribe' from a CorpNote member's email list, as required by law. If clicked, this blocks that member from sending a CorpNote eCard to that email address in the future. (The CorpNote member cannot change this setting.) Only the eCard recipient can re-allow that CorpNote member to send them a CorpNote eCard.
