Sending Email keyboard_arrow_right Compose your Email Message - Greeting

Your email greeting line appears at the top of your message on both eCards and email newsletters. If you have contacts in your address book, you can auto fill the greeting with your contact's first name.

How to Use the Greeting Option

  • Salutation – select from our list or type in the open text box.
  • Name – 'autofill name' requires that you use contacts in your address book. If you are sending an email to people not in your address book (or a combination of recipients) then what you type in the open text box will appear.
  • Example – if you send an email and select "Dear" as the salutation and choose 'autofill name' PLUS type "Member" in the name open text box, then:
    • a contact in your address book will see "Dear Firstname,"
    • a recipient NOT in your address book will see "Dear Member,"

thumb_up Important Note: Preview your email at any time by clicking on the "Save & Preview" button. This is the best way to see all of the options available for the greeting line.
