Extend your survey's reach with our direct link feature. This tutorial covers how to link directly to your survey response form or to the browser version of the email invitation that contains a link to your survey. A survey's direct link can be posted in social media, on your website, blog or through a text message.

How to Link to your Survey Invitation Email

Step 1: Send an email with a survey to yourself or to people you want to invite to take your survey (as shown in prior tutorials)

Step 2: Go to Email > Sent Emails

Find the email you want to link to and click the 'Copy Link' button

The link is now in your copy buffer and the screen will say "Text copied to the clipboard"

You can now paste this link into an email, blog or social media

thumb_up Important Notes

If you are linking directly to an email with a survey, you will not have as much detail as to who is picking up your email. You will still see how many times it was viewed but each view will be marked as 'anonymous'
To help you track survey emails that you are linking to, we recommend using our "Comments" feature. In your 'Sent Emails' bin, find the email you linked to and select 'Comments' from the drop down menu. Add descriptive comments that will help you remember how you distributed the link to your survey. Only you will see these comments.
You will not be able to use the survey 'Recipient List' feature with this method

How to Link to a Survey Response Form

Go to Surveys > Manage Surveys

Find the survey you want to link to and click the 'Direct Link' button

The link to the survey response form is now in your copy buffer and the screen will say "Text copied to the clipboard"

You can now paste this link into an email, blog or social media
