As part of our How to Make an eCard series, this video shows you how to make a birthday eCard using Adobe Photoshop. We cover the basics such as how big to make the image, how to choose the composition for your eCard design and the best compression settings to use when exporting your final eCard image. This tutorial also shows you detailed instructions on how to use Photoshop's vector tools to make the cupcake and the background, how to use effects for the text layer and tips for saving your final eCard design.
This birthday eCard was made entirely within Photoshop... but if you don't have Photoshop don't let that limit your creativity! There are many good photo and image editing solutions available, both as web-based apps (and phone apps) and as affordable software. And don't forget that with CorpNote you can upload ANY art that you create, as long as it can be saved as a JPEG (or PNG, BMP, etc.) file. This means you can use photos, digital files or traditional art made with colored pencils, markers, acrylic or watercolor. Just scan or photograph your artwork and upload it to CorpNote as a custom eCard design.
We'll be posting tutorials soon on how to make your own eCards using all of the above techniques. Make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter and follow us in social media channels to be notified as soon as new tutorials are posted.
